Your role

Are you an analytic thinker with a strong interest in financial and pricing topics? Do you like to leverage data and analytics to create actionable insights that support business growth and enhance client experience?
We’re looking for a Data & analytics specialist to:
  • establish relationships with stakeholders to understand their specific sales and pricing related business needs
  • consult on analytical approaches to design and implement solutions to business needs
  • perform analyses to identify price realization and revenue improvement opportunities
  • track the financial impact of pricing related measures
  • support Finance and Business Management on strategic decisions with client book insights and scenario calculations
  • Interpret analytical results and discuss them with senior management

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Finance Wealth Management Client Analytics Sales and Pricing team in Opfikon. We are really excited about turning numbers into actionable insights and discuss financial topics with our business partners on their level. Programming is our tool to extract information out of our strong and evolving data science environment. We closely work together in agile teams to find the best solutions for our clients.

Your expertise

  • master or bachelor degree in Natural Science, Mathematics, Data- or Process Design, or similar
  • several years of working experience in applied data analytics, from data extraction to complex analyses and from visualization to presentation
  • distinctive ability to analyze complex questions, data structures and programs and implement structured program and data solutions
  • practical experience in machine learning methods to handle structured and unstructured data is a plus
  • banking knowhow in Sales and/or Pricing environment is of advantage
  • very good programming skills in SQL, SAS, R or Python
  • analytical flair, high quality awareness, interdisciplinary and independent working style
  • strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels.
